Retail Shop or No Retail Shop

Over the past few decades, "walk-in" traffic has decreased significantly as online ordering and phone consultations have become more convenient. By choosing a studio over a retail location, I am able to avoid the high overhead costs—often between $5,000 and $8,000 a month in our area—associated with a storefront. Instead of directing those funds toward rent and utilities, I invest them directly into the quality and volume of the flowers in every arrangement that leaves Petal Perfection Flower Company.

Many wonder if this affects the customer experience. On the contrary, I find it allows for a much more personal touch. Wedding, event, and funeral consultations take place comfortably at a large table rather than over a counter, ensuring you have my undivided attention. While I operate as a studio, I still accommodate those who prefer an in-person experience and welcome clients to stop by for quick arrangements.
